SEE THE BEAUTY OF KODAIKANAL FROM COAKER'S WALK

Coaker’s Walk is a romantic pathway built and created by Leigh tenant Coaker. He built it in 1872 when India was under colonial rule. The pathway was built in such a way that the valleys can be visible while viewers walk along the pathway.

On a bright sunny day one can view the Dolphin’s nose in the South and the valley of the Pambar River in the South-east. Even part of the city of Madurai is visible from Coaker’s Walk. Whenever clouds and mist surround the place, it gives a panoramic view and for poets, authors, romantic persons, it creates creative thoughts.

Coaker’s Walk has a number of romantic tourist destinations in its vicinity including the Bryant Park. There is an old Eucalyptus tree and a Bodhi tree which give special importance to the Park. Besides the park , hotels , homestay in kodaikanal there are lakes in the vicinity where kodaikanal tourism prefer to do boating.
